Paper Abstract:
|
When we think about the beginning of television, we can conclude that the experiences of Alexandra Palace were just the
trigger for the beginning of something that not even the over-whelming innovations that, at the time, changed the fate of men
like: Sir John Reith who couldnt see that television would become such a huge medium. When we talk about Interactive
Television its possible to see during a long course of time (since the first interactive tv show in the world Winky Dink &
You CBS USA) there havent been many changes but now when we talk about a mobile society and interactive contents
we can see, an ever growing, market developing on a daily basis. Like Don Tapscott said, on his book Wikinomics,, today
we live a Participation Era where we, besides consuming contents in a nomadic behavior, act as participants in a global quest
for knowledge. Due to this aspect, today we se concentrations of all the technological techniques that happen in the world
converged in nomadic multimedia platforms mobile communications etc. This papers goal is to observe how these
changes have society demand a bigger variety of contents and see how know when we have the power as viewers and
consumers of a new television content era can we finally shape as we wish like the theoretician Eric Hoffer once said. |
